Why High Velocity Jetting
High Velocity jetting is the most common type of drain cleaning that we employ today. It makes use of high pressure water to break down clogs. We have found that this can clear most clogged drains with the best results. This technique uses high pressure water to bust through a clog and once the clog has been pierced we change the pressure tip and then scour the inside of the pipe. This will continue to break up the entire clog so that the drain will work as it should for years.
High velocity jetting can do more than just fix a clogged drain. It can descale cast iron pipes that are slow draining. If you descale a cast iron pipe before it clogs as part of a routine maintenance cleaning you could save yourself the headache of a clogged drain. Descaling a pipe can also extend the life of pipes.
High velocity jetting is a critical part of a modern drain cleaning company. All clogs are different so different tools are required. We send our technicians out with multiple size high velocity jetters as well as multiple tips for each machine. The clog in a sink drain is very different than the clog in a main sewer line so we have different tools for each clog.
We just want every pipe we clean to run trouble free for years, so you too can proclaim “Problem Solved”
